Personal wallets
A personal wallet tells txcast which EVM address a user can act through. It does not give txcast custody and does not make the address an organisation execution account.
Add a wallet
Section titled “Add a wallet”- Open Wallets.
- Connect the intended wallet provider.
- Confirm the displayed address.
- Complete the ownership proof requested by the app.
- Select the supported networks for that address.
One wallet record represents the address. Network capabilities are attached to it, so you do not need a duplicate wallet row for each chain.
Discover Safe memberships
Section titled “Discover Safe memberships”When you add or explicitly refresh a wallet, txcast can discover Safes for which the address is an owner or proposer. Discovery is cached and may finish in the background.
Wallet versus execution account
Section titled “Wallet versus execution account”Use Wallets for who can sign. Use Execution accounts for which organisation address a workflow step executes from. An EOA may need to exist in both registries for a user to sign a step executed by that organisation account.
If a wallet is connected on the wrong chain or address, switch it in the wallet extension and retry the action.
