Members, roles, and seats
- Owner: full organisation authority, including admin role changes and organisation billing.
- Admin: manages regular members and operational configuration, including workflow authoring and contract registration.
- Member: views organisation resources and performs allowed run actions without administrative access.
See the permissions matrix for common actions.
Invite a member
Section titled “Invite a member”- Open Organisation settings → Members.
- Select Invite member.
- Enter the email address and choose a role permitted by your own role.
- Send the invitation.
Pending invitations reserve seat capacity. Revoke an unused invitation before inviting someone else when the plan is at its limit.
Change access
Section titled “Change access”Owners can promote or demote admins and remove them. Admins can manage regular members but cannot remove or demote an owner or admin. Personal organisations do not allow membership changes.
A membership and a seat are different:
- membership records that a person belongs to the organisation;
- a seat makes that membership active for product access.
The owner is always seated. If a plan is downgraded, txcast preserves memberships and seat priority rather than deleting people. Unseated members are denied access until an owner restores capacity or changes seat assignments.
Removing someone
Section titled “Removing someone”Confirm the target carefully. Removing or unseating a user immediately disables their agent credentials because every request rechecks current membership and seat status.
