Start a run

Complete the workflow’s input form and select Start run. The current revision’s frozen schema determines its fields, labels, notes, defaults, and validation. Optional fields remain absent until added.

bigint, uint256, and int256 fields include an inline unit calculator for ETH, gwei, wei, 6-decimal, and 18-decimal values. It writes the raw integer into the field. A uint256 cannot be negative.

Use Edit JSON only when you need the canonical API wire format. Form and JSON edits remain synchronised, and invalid input cannot start a run.

txcast validates the input, resolves every declared organisation reference, authorises controlled accounts, and freezes the revision, artifact, backend, input, references, capabilities, and limits in one operation.

If a reference is unavailable, no run is created. Return to the template or run setup after repairing the controlled account, address-book entry, or contract.

The API returns 202 after the running run and recoverable backend-start work are committed. Recovery resumes an interrupted queue delivery from that state.

A run is Running, Completed, Failed, or Cancelled. Frozen input, references, and program identity cannot be edited. Cancel and create another run when the intent is wrong.
